MariTeam Lighting Inc. was founded in 1991 as the North American production and distribution center for the Glamox Group of products.  MariTeam is owned by the Glamox Group of Norway, the world’s largest supplier of marine and offshore lighting fixtures, employing over 1200 worldwide.

MariTeam is responsible for manufacturing, sales and distribution of well known brands of marine and offshore lighting: Glamox, Aqua Signal, Norselight, and Hovik Lys.  MariTeam manufactures all UL and CSA certified products for the group worldwide.

As a member of the Glamox Group, MariTeam is networked with affiliated companies and subsidiaries throughout the world, resulting in technical knowledge, sales and distribution on every continent.  MariTeam has extensive knowledge of all regulatory standards to meet customer requirements anywhere in the world.
  Glamox has been manufacturing luminaires since 1947 from it’s main factory in Molde, Norway. Glamox luminaires for all types of marine and offshore installations, are available worldwide through factories and distributors in 60 countries. Having exported luminaries for over 50 years, Glamox is familiar with marine and offshore standards and regulations all around the world, and produces an extensive line of fittings for all marine and offshore applications.
  Founded in 1868 Aqua Signal has over 125 years of experience as a world leading specialist in maritime lighting technology.  The company, based in Bremen, Germany has subsidiaries in the United States and Australia.  Over 60% of the company’s production of navigation lights, floodlights, interior and exterior marine fittings and emergency lighting systems are exported.
  For over 50 years Norselight has manufactured marine searchlights and floodlights for worldwide markets from Halden, Norway.  Norselight stepped up to the challenges of the oil and gas sector with specially designed searchlights and floodlights designed to meet the requirements of the industry worldwide, including protection class IP67.
  Hovik’s history is synonymous with electric lights in Norway, being the first company in Scandinavia to produce lamp glasses as early as 1874. Hovik operates from a modern factory in Halden, Norway and includes an extensive network of agents and distributors around the world.  Hovik specializes in producing custom decorative fittings to meet the demanding aesthetic specifications of architects and engineers.
